Dr. Link is a rocket scientist turned skin care scientist and a Green/ Organic crusader ever since becoming aware of the toxic chemicals in his children’s’ skin care products. Born into a family of generations of Ayurvedic physician's in Sri Lanka, educated in England in Chemical Engineering, Dr. Link has researched for the past 20 years with Brain Jegasothy, MD, formally chairman, Department of Dermatology, University of Pittsburg, Edward Janoski, a bio chemist and nutritional expert and with many other plastic surgeons, physicians, scientists, Ayurvedic and Naturopathic physicians, and developed programs and products to be happy, healthy and beautiful.
Since 1988, he has combined the wisdom of the East with the science of the West to provide true and practical result-oriented treatments and formulations. These programs and treatments encompass Ayurveda, Yoga, Meditation, Mantra, Energy work, Ayurvedic Aromacology, Chakra Balancing, Anti-Aging treatments and programs, Detox programs ( express Panchakama), weight management , Organic and Green products and pure Aesthetic treatments.
His research with Brain Dr. Jegasothy lead to the development of formulations that are green and organic and free of inflammatory and potentially carcinogenic ingredients which are linked to aging, disease and even to cancer. His experience of growing up in an Ayurvedic physician family as well as his knowledge of inflammatory and carcinogenic ingredients and the implication of stress, convinced him to incorporate the best of the modern science with the modalities of the east to boost the immune system performance and to live healthy and happy. The result is Hylunia Ayurveda Programs, Treatments and Hylunia Chakra skin Care with Mantra.
Dr. Link is a fellow (F.A.A.M.A), and Director of Education and Board Certification for the American Academy of Medical Aesthetics (a non-profit educational and wellness certification organization). Also, he is the Director of the Hylunia Ayurveda Wellness Training Center in Henderson, Nevada. Dr. Link was trained in Naturopathy at the Complementary Medical Services in California as well as in Ayurveda and Siddha medicine in India. He has been trained in moxibustion and Wull Stone-far infrared Therapy by Korean Master Kim and the first person in the U.S to be certified in FIRE -Wull Stone therapy. Link is an expert in setting up Ayurvedic Anti-aging Spas and training the clinical and wellness spas around the world.
Dr. Link shares his scientific research of the 5000 year old Ayurveda-Siddha medicine and experience through seminars, Ayurvedic Certification courses, and workshops around the world.
